01 — VIDEO LENGTH

How long should my video be?

Minimum recommended length is 90 seconds. The sweet spot is 3–5 minutes — ideally one full sparring round per upload. The more footage the AI has, the more accurate and detailed your report will be.

Warning — uploading multiple rounds of footage over 5 minutes in a single video may result in mismatched information in your report and in some cases upload failure. We recommend one round per upload for best results.

02 — CAMERA ANGLE

Where should I position the camera?

Place the camera at roughly head height, angled slightly downward toward the fighters. Keep the fighters centered in the frame and don't position the camera too far away — you want the AI to clearly see your movements, not tiny figures in the distance.

03 — WHO SHOULD BE IN FRAME

Who should be in the video?

Ideally just you and your sparring partner. That said, if there are others in the background it won't ruin the report — just make sure your description clearly identifies who you are in the video so the AI knows who to focus on.

04 — VIDEO QUALITY

What quality should I film in?

Good lighting makes a bigger difference than resolution. For best results, film in 1080p at 60fps — this gives the AI enough detail to track movement clearly. 4K works too but means a larger file and longer upload time.

05 — DESCRIBING YOURSELF

How should I describe myself in the video?

At minimum, tell us who you are in the video — for example "I'm the fighter in the blue shorts." Even better, describe what you were working on or struggling with that round. The more specific you are, the more focused your report will be on the things that actually matter to you.

For example: 'I'm in the blue shorts and gloves starting on the right side of the ring. I struggled with countering my opponent's punches and kept getting my kicks checked.'

06 — WHAT FOOTAGE TO USE

My report received no improvements or areas to work on — why?

This is important — ApexSight is specifically designed to find mistakes and areas to improve. Footage of you dominating a round makes that much harder. Use footage of competitive rounds where you were being tested. That's where the most valuable feedback comes from.

07 — WHAT TO EXPECT

A note on accuracy

The AI is still being refined. If anything in your report seems off or flat out wrong, please let us know via the feedback page — every report you flag helps us make the system better for everyone.
